The Regions
In this program, students have the chance to explore five world regions. These areas are diverse, but they are all in need of assistance to reach the Millennium Development Goals. Choose from the regions below to learn more about their unique geography and cultures, as well as the special challenges they each face.
The information we provide about the regions will help you bring them alive in your classroom. Each section features tips and tools to help you share the beauty and the challenges of each region with your students. As they learn, your students will begin reaching across oceans and connecting with youth in developing countries. Together, they will create a better world.
